Walk-in registration – for ad-hoc visitors who are not pre-registered by the resident.

Is any hardware required by the security guards to record visitors in PropKita?
Yes. A Guard Device will be installed at the guardhouse. It is a tablet with a pre-installed PropKita app and operates using a SIM card.
The Guard Device helps streamline daily operations for security guards. Its main function replaces the need for a physical intercom cabled to each unit and the traditional method of recording visitor details. Guards can communicate with residents via PropKita’s wireless intercom function and continue to register visitors using the Guard Device.
How are residents notified when visitors successfully check-in in PropKita?
Once the visitor has been checked in, the resident will receive a push notification on the PropKita app to notify them of the visitor’s arrival. Alternatively, the guard can directly call the resident to confirm or inform about the visitor.

Guards are allowed to amend the visitor’s information and add remarks to the pre-registration form to reflect the new vehicle details.

- Does the resident need to pre-register regular visitors every time they are supposed to visit in PropKita?

When the visitor arrives, the guard will verify their photo ID to complete the registration process.
- Can the Management set certain visit purposes to require “Upon Approval” in PropKita?
Yes. The Management can set certain visit purposes to require approval before the visitor can enter. When a resident attempts to pre-register a visitor with such a visit purpose, they will be notified that the pre-registration will be submitted to Management for approval first. Once approved via the Admin Panel, the resident will receive an approval notification, and the visitor can proceed to check-in at the guardhouse.
